What's Wrong With the Name of Jesus?

NOTHING.
You may agree that there is nothing wrong with the name of Jesus. However, it may shock you to find that although many "Christians" claim all the benefits of the Name of Jesus yet refuse to be baptized in the Name of Jesus. 'Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the NAME of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand before you whole.
This (the name of Jesus) is the stone which was set at nought of you builders which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there SALVATION in any other (name): for there is NONE OTHER NAME under heaven given among men, whereby we MUST BE SAVED" Acts 4:10-12. Later we find the true attitude of the religious leaders of that day concerning the name of Jesus: "Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and behold ye have filled Jerusalem with your DOCTRINE" Acts 5:28.
The apostles' DOCTRINE was the teaching of the importance of the name of Jesus in water baptism for salvation. The big issue in the early New Testament church, clearly was the NAME OF JESUS. The name of Jesus was that REJECTED stone of the religious leaders who claimed to know and love God.
These same leaders so hated the name of Jesus that they actually beat the apostles for teaching that salvation can only come by the use of the NAME OF JESUS (Acts 5:40).
These religious leaders are still around today. They use the name of Jesus to cast our devils, yet they have never taken the name of Jesus upon them in baptism. They will preach and prophesy in Jesus' name (Matt. 7:22) but these same leaders will all but curse someone who is called "Jesus Name".
Do you dare pray in the name of Jesus, prophecy in the name of Jesus, cast out devils in the name of Jesus, heal the sick in the name of Jesus, and yet refuse to be BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS!
I ask you again, "What's wrong with the name of Jesus?" The name of Jesus is higher than any other name (Phil. 2:9-10). There's salvation in NO other name, (Acts 4:12). Do you do everything in the name of Jesus, except baptize? Philipians 2:10 says, 'AT THE NAME OF JESUS ", not simply in the authority of the name, as some would have you to believe. Actually, it is the power of using the name of JESUS. Kenneth Hagan wrote a book entitled, "The Name of Jesus", and does a great job at detailing the power and importance of using the name of Jesus. However, when he wrote about baptizing in the name of Jesus, he wrote it off by saying he doesn't baptize in the name of Jesus only. Kenneth Hagan baptizes in the "TITLES" Father, Son, Holy Ghost and not in the name of JESUS.
My question to Mr. Hagan and to all who agree with his philosophy is, "Do you not pray for the sick, cast out devils, and prophesy in the name of Jesus Christ only, or do you say the words Father, Son, Holy Ghost?" The religious leaders of Acts 4: hated the "DOCTRINE OF THE NAME OF JESUS". If this tract is making you mad and upset, then you need to check yourself to make sure you are not as the leaders in Acts 4 and 5. What about Matthew 28:19, you ask! What is the NAME (singular) of the Father, Son, Holy Ghost?
The Name of the Father is Jesus (Jn.5:43) The Name of the Son is Jesus (Matt. 1:21) The Name of the Holy Ghost is Jesus (Jn. 14:26) Jesus is the only one who has ascended and descended (Jn. 3:13, Ep. 4:10)
Note very carefully the following- 'Who hath ascended up into heaven? (JESUS) or descended? (JESUS) ... WHAT IS HIS SON'S NAME, if thou canst tell? "JESUS" Prov. 30:4. Please read Is. 9:6, Matt. 28:19, Mark 16:16-17, Luke 24:47, Acts 2:38, Acts 8:16, Acts 10:48, Acts 19:5, Acts 22:16, Rom. 6:3, Col. 3:17.
